White Castle Copycat Recipe
Instructions:
Chop a large onion finely, and spread it around so it covers the bottom of a cookie sheet. In a mixing bowl, combine 2lb of ground chuck, half a cup of milk, a packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix, and a tablespoon of peanut butter.
Spread the beef mix in a thinnish layer over top of the onions then press some holes like you see in the photo ( not sure what this does but its what White Castle does).
Bake in the oven for 25 min at 350. After this, I pulled the pan out and carefully drained off the fat into the sink. None of the recipes I found explained how to deal with the fat, but thats what I did. Then back into the oven for about 10 min. Then add Kraft cheese slices to cover the beef. Back into the oven for 10 min. Then add pickles and the tops of the dinner rolls, back into the oven for 5 min.
Then I used a pizza slicer to slice between the buns, and a spatula to remove and place on the bun.
